Yousra El-Louzi says she didn’t need to read the history of the Society of Muslim Brotherhood to play her role “El-Gama’a”, the television drama that follows the life of the society’s founder, Hasan El-Banna.

Because her role has nothing to do with Muslim Brotherhood’s history, the actress only needed to read what scenarist Wahid Hamed wrote about them, according to her interview with El-Masri El-Youm newspaper.

“I fully depended on what he wrote. I can say that I left myself between his and the directors hands and concentrated on my role only,” Yousra added.

“Besides, my role has nothing to do with the Muslim Brotherhood’s history,” she pointed out.

In other news, “El-Gama’a”, which follows the history of the society of Muslim Brotherhood, has managed to top the list of dramas with the most television commercials in Ramadan 2010.

The new television project got the most viewers with 11 commercials during the first days of Ramadan, according to El-Messa newspaper.

The drama is helmed by Mohamed Yassin and stars Eyad Nassar, Yousra El-Louzi and Ezzat El-Alayli.
