Egyptian singer Sherin cried intensely as she was being awarded from the Egyptian Scientists Society, all because of a media rumor.
Sherin cried at media reports which claimed the singing sensation took half a million Egyptian pounds for the first pictures of her baby girl Mariam.
“I know God will stand beside me and any other artist who are routinely torn apart in the media,” Sherin told the audience.
Charisma magazine published exclusively the first photos for Mariam and her husband musical arranger Mohamed Mostafa.
The Scientific Society honored Sherin with a life-time achievement award, and especially for her song “Mashrebtesh Men Nela”.
