Sandra Bullock took home the Best Actress in a Leading Role Oscar Award last night.
Accepting the award on Sunday - her first Oscar and her first nomination - Bullock flirted with Meryl Streep, took a dig at George Clooney and paid touching tribute to her mom, usmagazine.com reports.
"Did I really earn this, or did I just wear you all down?" said Bullock as she reached the podium.
The actress, 45, who won for her performance as Leigh Anne Tuohy in The Blind Side, said that she "fell in love" with her four fellow nominees - especially Streep, whom she famously kissed at the People's Choice Awards.
"You are such a good kisser," Bullock said, later jokingly calling Streep "my lover."
She also thanked those in Hollywood who were "mean to me" in her past -- including George Clooney, who, she says, "threw me in a pool."
The actress got quiet and teary, however, when thanking "Helga B," her mom. The star credits her mother "for not letting me ride in cars with boys until I was 18" and for teaching her about tolerance: "there no race, no religion, no color, no sexual orientation...we are all deserving of love."
Her most emotional fan at the Kodak Theater? Husband Jesse James, who watched teary-eyed in the audience.
Backstage in the press room after accepting her award, the beaming actress joked that James, 40 (who stood to the side while she spoke to reporters), teared up because something was in his eye. "The dancers kicked up a lot of dust," she joked. (She also declined to elaborate on why Clooney threw her into a pool because "he looked so tired tonight.")
She told UsMagazine.com her post-show celebration plans. "Food. I just want a burger and I just want some food. I want to sit down, take the shoes off. You know, we got some friends that are all meeting. I want to eat and not sweat it and not worry the dress will bust open," she told Us. "I just want to relax and just eat... And I'd like a nap, too."
As for Mo'Nique, the best supporting actress Oscar award for Precious won’t be changing her much.
"I am a stand up comedian who won an Oscar!" she joked in the press room of Sunday's show Sunday night. "Ha, baby, I tickle me!"
"You know, this role was so not about my acting career," she added. "This role has shaped my life and allowed me not to judge and to love unconditionally. If that goes into my career, great, but if it doesn't and I'm just the dynamic person that I strive to be every day, then I've won, baby!"
Mo'Nique - who earned a standing ovation after her name was called - grew serious when discussing her speech.
"Everything I wanted to say, and everything I needed to say, I said," she told reporters.
The actress - who played an abusive mother in the drama - also addressed criticism that she didn't play into politics of campaigning for an Oscar.
"I'm very proud to be part of an academy that says we will not play that game. We will judge her on her performance, not how many dinners she attended."
After hearing her name announced, Mo'Nique said she recalled a moment she had with husband Sidney Hicks in 10th grade. "I said, 'One day, we're gonna be stars,' and he said, 'You first!'"
