Queen Latifah kicked off Sunday's (Feb. 7) Super Bowl with "America the Beautiful”. After that, Carrie Underwood took the stage and sang the National Anthem.

According to Access Hollywood, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were escorted into the game on a golf cart moments before it began.

The bearded Pitt was with son Maddox and shouted out his allegiance to “Who Dat” nation before the Saints’ big win over the Colts.

Tom Cruise went into the stadium like other ticket holders, up an escalator with daughter Suri in his arms. Son Connor also accompanied the actor.

Demi More and Ashton Kutcher were on the sidelines before kickoff, avoiding cameras — even though they were inches from their faces.

Other celebrity sightings included John Travolta, who was seen leaving before the Saints made their game-winning comeback.

Before the game, LL Cool J declared himself on the side of the team that ultimately lost, the Colts.

“I’m from New York: There’s a Manning connection,” he said, referring to Colts’ quarterback Peyton Manning’s little brother, New York Giants quarterback Eli.

But he knew the potential repercussions of announcing his pick as soon as he said it.

“They’re gonna beat me up,” he said of rabid Saints fans. “I feel like I’ve got five pounds of beads!”

Gloria Estefan and husband Emilio, part owners of the Miami Dolphins, proclaimed they weren’t there to root for anybody in particular — they were just proud the Super Bowl was back in their town.

The Who performed during the half-time show at the Land Shark Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.

Singer Roger Daltrey and guitarist Pete Townshend performed a medley of their classic rock hits during the 12-minute laser-filled show, monstersandcritics.com reports.

The group played hits including Pinball Wizard, Baba O'Reilly, Who Are You?, See Me, Feel Me and Won't Get Fooled Again.

One of this year's Super Bowl XLIV surprises was when David Letterman, Oprah Winfrey and Jay Leno appeared together for a promo ad of David's late night show. Oprah is seen sitting on the couch between David and Jay, watching the show on TV.

The clip starts with David complaining about the game saying, "This is the worst Super Bowl party ever." Oprah is quick to respond to his rant, "Now, Dave, be nice." David then replied, "He's just saying that because I'm here." In return, David mocks Jay, making Oprah to roll her eyes and sigh.

The whole thing is David's idea with Oprah and Jay are willing to participate. The spot was filmed at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City on the heels of drama between Jay Leno and Conan O'Brien over the "Tonight Show" slot which put Jay on the villain side and made David criticize him, according to aceshowbiz.com.

Though it leads to speculation that it's an effort to put the drama behind, executive producer of "Late Show with David Letterman", Rob Burnett, insisted the initial idea is just for entertainment.

"This wasn't done to help Dave or to help Jay," he said. "Though I think it does help both of them. It was just done because Dave thought it would be funny and would entertain people. Nothing went beyond that."

Despite the fact that the three are shot sitting uncomfortably next to each other on the clip, Burnett said they got along during the filming. "Dave and Jay were very professional and cordial and friendly with each other," he confessed. "And Oprah, in addition to her many talents, is a wonderful comedienne."
